AmCham to Celebrate the US Independence Day at the Open Air Museum Event

AmCham Latvia Annual U.S. Independence Day Picnic Celebration will take place on June 30, 13:00 at the Latvian Ethnographic Open-Air Museum (Brīvības gatve 440, entrance from Ezera gate).

Festivities will include:
– opening remarks by Paul Poletes, Deputy Chief of Mission, Raimonds Bergmanis, Minister of Defense, and AmCham President Arnis Kakulis;
– a bouncy castle, face painting, and cotton candy for kids;
– an experiment show by Zinoo;
– musical entertainment by jazz band Apple Express and orchestra of the Latvian Armed Force;
– American car exhibit;
– a charity raffle;
– interactive photo booth;
– food and beverages.

Proceeds from the charity raffle will benefit the Latvian Foster Family Association, Ronald McDonald House Charities in Latvia, and SOS Children’s Villages in Latvia. Participants will have a chance to win 4 tickets to the closing concert of the Latvian Song and Dance Festival, and an AirBaltic gift certificate for two to a destination of choice. Tickets are available for 5 EUR/each or 20 EUR/five tickets.

We encourage you to attend this year’s U.S. Independence Day Picnic. The event offers a great opportunity to spend a festive afternoon outdoors with your family. You should expect to mingle with fellow AmCham members, our partners and friends.
